Tandoori Salmon

A simple and tasty dish that a seafood lover will definitely enjoy. I’m always on the lookout for quick and tasty recipes and this one certainly checks all the boxes. Subtle Indian flavours work well with salmon as it has it’s own flavour. You can increase or reduce the amount of chili powder depending on how spicy you like it. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Salmon

  • 2-3 tsps tandoori masala

  • 2-3 tsps red chili powder

  • 1 tbsp oil

  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste

  • 1 ½ tsp salt

  • 3-4 slices of lemon

  • 1 green pepper

  • 3 cloves of garlic

Method:

  • Mix tandoori masala, red chili powder,½ tbsp oil, ginger garlic paste and salt in a bowl. You can add more chili powder or tandoori masala as per your taste.

    • 2-3 tsps tandoori masala

    • 2-3 tsps red chili powder

    • 1 tbsp oil

    • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste

    • 1 ½ tsp salt

  • Make slight slits on the salmon. Coat the salmon with the dry rub and keep aside for 1- 3 hours.

  • Pre-heat oven to 450 F. On the pan spread the remaining oil. Place the salmon with lemon slices on top and garlic on the pan.

  • Bake on each side for 6-8 minutes. Add chopped green pepper and broil for 3-4 min on each side.
